Our Scór Tráth na gCeist team of Aidan and Paul Dockery, Gerard Reilly and Noel Carr captured Bornacoola’s 4th All Ireland senior title in Castlebar on Saturday last, and our 3rd Question Time All Ireland since 2010. For Aidan, it was his fourth All Ireland Scór title having also won the Recitation in 1999 while it was a first All-Ireland medal in Scór for Paul, Gerard and Noel. Aidan and Paul are the first father and son combination to win an All-Ireland on the same Tráth na gCeist team to the best of our knowledge. It was a terrific performance from the Bors to claim the title as they held a 5-point lead as they qualified for the stage element of the final and ended up winning with a huge 7-point margin to spare. The lads were welcomed home to Dromod on Saturday night as the new All Ireland Champions. Well done to all and our thanks to those who turned out to welcome them home on Saturday.
This year our Sunrise Walk takes place on Saturday 9th May, meeting at Bornacoola clubhouse at 4am to start our walk at 4:15am. Tea/Coffee and refreshments will be available after the walk in our club house.

Following on from our previous game, the girls put in another fine display resulting in a comprehensive victory. This Wednesday they play Mohill in Mohill at 7pm while our U14 girls travel to Kinlough on Friday for a 7pm throw in against Melvin Gaels.
