Bornacoola GAA 50/50 Draw  

Our first 50//50 Monthly Draw monthly draw will take place this Sunday at 8pm in the Copper Still with a minimum first prize of €1000. A single entry will cost only €5 (3 entries for €10 and 7 for €20). You can enter online via this link on the Bornacoola GAA App – https://member.clubspot.app/club/bornacoola-gaa-lgfa/fundraisers - by buying an envelope from a club member or in one of the businesses in the local area. All the money collected each month will be divided equally between the club & the winner – for example, if we collect €3,000 and your name is drawn, you will win €1,500. Best of luck!

ACL Reserve Division 3 

An excellent performance from our Reserve team got our league promotion push back on track yesterday against a very strong Allen Gaels team in Dromod. A very tight game throughout with the scores level at half time, it took a late goal from Cian Mallon scoring his 3rd to seal the win for the Bors. Final score Bornacoola 3-11 Allen Gaels 1-14. Well done in particular to Mervyn Howard who got married on Friday in Kilronan Castle celebrated all weekend but still had time to line out yesterday and give an excellent performance. Congrats and best wishes for the future to the new Mr and Mrs Howard. Golf Classic 

Our 2025 Golf Classic will take place at Strokestown Golf Club on Friday 20th and Saturday the 21st of June.  This is a bi-annual event, and in the past always proved to be a wonderful success. Cost for a team of 4 will be €160 with tee sponsorship available for €150 and green sponsorship for €150 also. As usual we will have very good prizes and all sponsors names will be published. The Hive - 25th Anniversary

The Hive Bornacoola Youth Club is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and there will be a special celebration held in the Community Centre on Sunday, June 22nd at 2pm to mark this. We warmly invite all past and present leaders and members, along with everyone from the parish, to come together for this special occasion. Enjoy live music by Ronnie Duignan, capture the day with a photo in the selfie mirror with the special event crew Loughlin and Amanda and enjoy fun activities for all ages.
