Our Intermediate team travelled to Drumreilly on Saturday evening last. In an exciting game, the Bors struggled to find the form of their visit to Carrickmakeegan earlier in the year and despite two well taken goals by Jonathan Boyle and Anthony Mulligan it was the home side who triumphed by a point on a final scoreline of 2-7 to 1-11. This Saturday the boys return to action when playing Glenfare/Kiltyclogher in Kilglass at 7pm. Team on Saturday was Danny Farrell, Brian Duffy, Mervyn Howard, John McGarry, Sean Mc Keon, Kevin Mulligan, David Mulligan, Allan Croghan, Liam Jones, Jonathan Boyle, Shane Mallon, Kian Mc Cormack, Anthony Mulligan, Conor Reynolds and Damian Moran. Subs used were Robert O Beirne, Nathan Ryan and Sean O Riordan.
Our Ladies team resume their league campaign this Wednesday away to St Josephs B in Aughavas at 7pm. Our U12 Girls finished their grading competition with an away trip to Melvin Gaels last Wednesday. The girls gave it their all but came up short against a much stronger team. Meanwhile our U14 Girls started their championship on Sunday last also away to Melvin Gaels B - the girls put up a good performance to seal a 3-8 to 1-10 victory. Finally, the U16 Girls start their championship away to St Marys B this Friday at 7pm.
